Missing People

The brief:

To produce a video for Missing People’s Home for Christmas Appeal, to raise important funds and awareness for the charity.

Our approach:

For the Home for Christmas appeal, we produced a simple yet powerful video featuring family members of those who have gone missing. We donated our time and services free of charge as part of the Christmas spirit!

The results:

The video received over 500 views in the first few days it was uploaded, and now has over 1200 views on YouTube.   The video was distributed via social media networks, email as well as large events such as football matches and as part of LBC Radio’s Christmas charity campaign. It was Missing People’s single biggest generator of text donations, 148 in total, 19 of which converted to a regular gift worth around £72 a year to the charity. This means £1810 was raised from donations in the first year but there is the potential added value of around £1368 a year to the charity. To put this into perspective this could help Missing People give essential support to over 10 families of missing people for up to a year.

“The team at Tallboy have been so helpful with our appeal this year, offering us their expertise in video production, facilities and the time of their filmmakers to really show our work from the perspective of those affected.

This really is a fantastic result for us so thank you so much for taking on the project and doing such a fantastic job. I personally found the video very moving and powerful and can see why it evoked such a strong positive response from our supporters base.“
