The merging of Eventia and the International Visual Communications Association (IVCA) has created a powerful new trade association representing more than 500 communication businesses of which Tallboy is a member. Created from two highly successful associations – Eventia representing the live event world, and IVCA representing the visual communication sector. EVCOM is comprised of a wide variety of leading professionals, agencies, freelancers, destinations, production companies and suppliers – all working at the highest levels throughout the events and visual communication sector.
The visual communications industry is compelling, evolving and multifaceted – and via EVCOM membership, members can attend, events, workshops, network and enter awards. Tallboy was is long standing member of the IVCA and now is a current member of EVCOM. Tallboy’s MD Simon Banks is currently serving on the Education Working Committee, which aims to drive forward the associations involvement in a range of education, training and continuing professional development initiatives. The committee also work closely with academia and establish strong links between industry practitioners, lecturers and the student community.
