Making a good video is all about the story. However, the story needs to be told visually, and so a video goes from good to great if the pictures are dramatic, exciting and attention-grabbing. (more…)
There’s a crisis in the NHS with medical students preferring to do anything other than be a GP. The Royal College of GPs desperately want to address that and have asked us to produce a recruitment video. Trouble is, they want it delivered in six weeks. That would be fine, except, of course, we have a thing called Christmas in the middle.
Tallboy had been commissioned by Unicef to produce a live debate on the subject of youths in conflict.
This was an opportunity to work with one of the most distinguished war correspondent of all time, Martin Bell, who was to be the presenter, and three eminent experts in the field, who had expertise in the conflicts in Rwanda, South Sudan and the Arab Spring.
The debate was filmed on Friday and will be broadcast on Unicefs website and Youtube channel.
Ofcom commissioned Tallboy to produce a video to provide information about preventing and dealing with nuisance calls and messages. The end result is a 2 minute animation offering tips and advice in a simple straightforward way. We also made it available with subtitles for those with hearing impairments.
Recent Ofcom research revealed that a third (32%) of consumers were unsure of where to get advice on preventing nuisance calls, so we hope this helps to spread the word!
