Corporate B-Roll
The distribution of video footage has become a key communications tool for PR campaigns and launches. This is often called Corporate B-Roll, Video New Releases, (VNR)’s. These terms basically mean the same thing, where a client/company wants to get broadcast coverage of their event, campaign or important announcement. Rather than relying on the TV news crews ‘turning up’ to film, we give the broadcasters professionally shot footage to use in their programmes. Thus saving them key resources, but more importantly allowing you control over what pictures are used.
B-roll can of course be used for other corporate video productions such as sales promotions and product launch videos or for video podcasting. Examples of b-roll can be seen on our clients video page.
Video News Releases (VNR)
An effective Video News Release (VNR) provides the broadcast media with high quality pictures that illustrate your story. By supplying images that are may be hard to come by or are difficult to access, it is more likely your story will be included in the news agenda for television news programmes. For example, this may be shots of the inside of your factory or shots of the production process.
