Interactive online magazines

Tallboy is always looking to find new ways to deliver video and we think we’ve found an excellent solution in the form of an online magazine!

Until recently, ‘online magazine’ meant one of two things. It was either a straightforward PDF with pages that turned. Or it was a flash creation with videos, music and lots of things to click. Extremely impressive, but extremely expensive!

Boosting British Businesses!

This year, the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) celebrates its 150th anniversary. Established in 1860, the BCC is a well renowned organisation supporting over 100,000 businesses across the UK, who between them employ over five million people. So to celebrate all their achievements they asked Tallboy to produce a video which is not only being streamed on their website but was used at their annual conference at BAFTA’s headquarters last month. Video is the fastest growing phenomenon on the web. We all know that hours and hours of videos are uploaded to YouTube every minute (24 hours a minute to be precise) – and we think it’s usually something homemade and funny.   But in 2009, the number of professionally produced videos on YouTube jumped by 20 percent. And there were 49 billion views of those videos! (more…)
