Tallboy had been commissioned by Unicef to produce a live debate on the subject of youths in conflict.

This was an opportunity to work with one of the most distinguished war correspondent of all time, Martin Bell, who was to be the presenter, and three eminent experts in the field, who had expertise in the conflicts in Rwanda, South Sudan and the Arab Spring.

The debate was filmed on Friday and will be broadcast on Unicefs website and Youtube channel.

Wow! What a summer!

Wow! What a summer!

We hope you had a great summer – no holidays for us,  it was Tallboy’s busiest ever August! In just one week, with five shoots and two training sessions,  we knocked up another Tallboy record – capturing 47 interviews over the five days. We believe people are really starting to understand how powerful video is. So thanks to all our clients who have kept us busy and we look forward to sharing some of the videos with you soon.

A lot of our clients are surprised at the amount of equipment there is, and how long it takes to unload, set-up and finally get the cameras recording!  But knowing what is involved and asking the right questions before the shoot will save valuable time and prevent headaches. This will ensure the day’s filming runs smoothly, and that everyone involved has a productive and enjoyable day.
